Dusty Springfield Picture
Dusty Springfield was born April 16, 1939, in West Hampstead, London as Mary Isabel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien. She was a musical icon, whose music spanned genres and whose influence spanned generations and across oceans. Her father was an avid fan of classical and jazz, and he would beat out rhythms on the back of her hand, asking the young girl to guess which piece of music that was. She was brought up listening to a wide variety of music. Her mother would bring her to the movies at any opportunity.

Baby Blue Lyrics

Dusty Springfield

(trevor horn)
(ooh, ooh, baby blue)
(whats wrong with you? )
Ooh, yeah
Getting back to business, baby
Just believe in me
Forget the things the wise men say
Thats our philosophy
(I want you now)
Ive got the feeling you want me, too
(show you how)
Oh, oh
Gonna catch a shaft of light
Shine it in your eyes
Gonna see whats on your mind
Before you realise
(I want you now)
Ive got the feeling you want me, too
(show you how)
Ooh, hoo
(ooh, baby blue)
(whats wrong with you? )
You got me worn out trying
(ooh, baby blue)
(what can I do? )
Why dont you let me through to you? , oh, yeah, oh
If I follow my desire
Come inside your heart
It would be impossible
To stop what we might start
(I want you now)
Ive got the feeling you want me, too
(show you how), so
(ooh, baby blue)
(whats wrong with you? )
You got me worn out trying
(ooh, baby blue)
(what can I do? )
Why dont you let me through to you?
(ooh, ooh, baby blue)
(whats wrong with you, baby blue? )
(ooh, ooh, baby blue)
What can I do?
If I follow my desire
Come inside your heart
It would be impossible
To stop what we might start
I want you now
Ive got the feeling you want me, too
(show you how, ooh)
(ooh, baby blue)
(whats wrong with you? )
You got me worn out trying
(ooh, baby blue)
(what can I do? )
Why dont you let me through to you?
Ooh, baby blue
(whats wrong with you? )
You got me worn out trying
(ooh, baby blue)
(what can I do? )
Why dont you try to let me through to you?
(ooh, baby blue)
Oh, baby blue
(whats wrong with you? )
You got me worn out trying
(ooh, baby blue)
(what can I do? )
Oh, baby blue
